HOW TO REPLACE THE HEAD ON YOUR PRESSURE WASHER PUMP FOR ANNOVI REVERBERI PRESSURE WASHER PUMP BRAND
If your problem with your pressure washer pump is in the head of the unit, then save yourself some money and time by following The ROP Shop's Rugged U installation instructions for replacing out your Annovi Reverberi pump head. Since you’ll likely be making this repair with the pump still attached to the pressure washer, ensure that if you’re planning to lay your pressure washer down, the engine is positioned in a way that oil will not leak into your pistons or carburetor.
STEP 1: COLLECT THE NEEDED TOOLS
- Allen Wrench
- Flathead Screwdriver
STEP 2: Using the Allen wrench, loosen the bolts on top of the pump. It may take a bit of rugged strength since they’re set using Loctite.
STEP 3: Lightly rock the head back and forth to remove the head from the body.
STEP 4: Remove all bushings and water seals from the pistons. The bushings can be used on the new head if they are not damaged. You can also order new bushings for your pressure washer pump. The pump head comes with new water seals, but we also sell new water seals for your pressure washer pump head.
STEP 5: Install the old bushings into the new head with the grooves facing away from the head or down towards the pump. Installing these incorrectly can result in damage to the seals.PRESSURE WASHER PUMP HEADS
STEP 6: Slide the new head down onto the pistons until the head is flush with the body.
STEP 7: Apply Loctite to the bolts to prevent them from coming loose from vibration. You can use red or blue, depending on if you think you’ll ever need to remove them again in the future.
STEP 8: Hand-tighten the bolts first. Then use the Allen wrench to finish tightening them down to 221"-lbs or 18.4'-lbs of torque. Be careful to not over-tighten them, which could break the heads off of the bolts or strip the aluminum threads inside the pump wall.
With your head replacement now complete, it’s time to test it out. Make sure you only test the unit with water running through the system.

We’ve learned a thing or two during our 34+ years of plowing snow. Having grown from a single truck and plow to an entire fleet, we know that efficiency and precision are essential to staying profitable. When plowing, you don’t just want to be quick at clearing the lot so you can move on to the next. You also need to get it done without destroying the property or your equipment. One product that will help you do both is driveway markers, also called snow stakes. Check out a few of our tips from The ROP Shop's Rugged U...
The ROP Shop now carries a tool that makes installing driveway markers a snap. Even though it’s ideal to have your markers in place by early October, our new tool can help you to place your snow stakes even later in the season if you happen to get behind (or if you procrastinated too long). It’s also great for when you need to replace a broken stake halfway through the season. Here is a quick install guide from The ROP Shop's Rugged U on using the install tool...
What’s the difference between OEM and aftermarket parts, you ask? Sometimes everything, and yet, sometimes nothing at all. Before we begin, let’s define what it means when a part is called “OEM” or “aftermarket”. OEM stands for “Original Equipment Manufacturer”. OEM products come straight from the original manufacturer who created your equipment. For example, if you purchased a Toro mower, the OEM components would originate from Toro. Aftermarket components are often produced by a number of manufacturers, but could all be sold by the same supplier. Check out this showdown between OEM and aftermarket from The ROP Shop's Rugged U.
